The FOSS at MAGIC Research Associate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and reporting on the overall direction of the FOSS at MAGIC initiative, in concert with the core team of the MAGIC Center.  Specifically, the Research Associate will be required to provide technical and intellectual leadership of FOSS projects undertaken through the initiative, engage with community stakeholders and thought leaders on FOSS subjects, and provide expertise, media relations, and community engagement in support of a wide range of FOSS at MAGIC events including (but not limited to) hackathons, code challenges, media events, corporate relations with FOSS community, and other events in support of both the initiative and the MAGIC Center as a whole.  The Research Associate will also supervise student and co-op employees engaged in the FOSS at MAGIC initiative, and is responsible for coordinating such activities with the entire team at the MAGIC Center.
