<b>Community mourns death of Anthony Wallace </b><br />Anthony (Tony) Wallace, an RIT/NTID alumnus and former officer with RIT Public Safety, died Saturday while on duty with the Hoonah (Alaska) Police Department. According to officials, Wallace and a colleague were confronted by a lone gunman. Both officers died from injuries sustained in the attack. <b>First class of city scholars welcomed</b><br />Twenty-six students from the Rochester City School district will begin undergraduate degrees this fall through the Rochester City Scholars Program. The program covers full tuition for these first-year students.
A welcoming ceremony will be held Aug. 31 at Liberty Hill.
